Terms of Service

Effective date: to be inserted on publication

Draft — this page is a structural scaffold. Each section needs final language from counsel before publication.

1. Acceptance

Using Deckosaurus means you accept these terms; if you don't, don't use it.

INSERT: acceptance language reviewed by counsel

2. The Subscription

Pro and Team are recurring subscriptions billed via Stripe; trial periods, renewal cadence, and price-change notice live here.

INSERT: subscription mechanics, renewal, price-change notice period

3. License grant

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and run Deckosaurus on Macs you own or control during your subscription period.

INSERT: license scope language; clarify seat semantics for Team

4. License-key delivery

On successful payment we email a license key to the address on the Stripe receipt; you're responsible for keeping it safe; lost keys can be re-issued from the Customer Portal.

INSERT: key-delivery SLA + replacement policy

5. Refund

We'll refund any Pro payment within 14 days of first charge for any reason; refunds are processed by Stripe and take 5–10 business days to return to your card.

INSERT: refund mechanics, exclusions, jurisdiction-specific notes

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Deckosaurus to do illegal things, don't break the app on purpose, don't resell it.

INSERT: acceptable-use policy, banned uses, jurisdiction-specific carve-outs

7. Your account

You're responsible for the activity under your account; tell us if it gets compromised.

INSERT: account-security obligations, password requirements if any

8. Third-party agents

When you enable hosted agents (Claude, Codex, Antigravity) Deckosaurus relays your prompts to those vendors under their terms; we're not responsible for vendor outages or vendor terms changes.

INSERT: third-party-services disclaimer; list current vendors

9. Termination

You can cancel any time from the Customer Portal; we can terminate for breach with notice; on termination your active period continues to its end and the Hobby tier remains available indefinitely.

INSERT: termination mechanics, surviving clauses

10. Warranties, liability, governing law

Software-as-is, our liability is capped at fees paid in the trailing 12 months, governing law is to be specified.

INSERT: warranty disclaimer, liability cap, governing-law clause, arbitration if applicable
